FARMER GOV BAGO SYMPATHISES WITH VICTIMS OF WINDSTORM DISASTERS IN MOKWA AND BIDA LGAS.
Niger State governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago symphatises with the people of Mokwa Local Government Area over the windstorm that destroyed structures, including houses and livelihoods.
The farmer governor, in a statement on Wednesday through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described the incident as sad and unfortunate.
He also extended his sympathy to the people of Bida Local Government over a similar disaster.
The farmer governor noted that the two incidents have caused setbacks to the victims and that he shares in their pains and losses.
He directed the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, State Emergency Management Agency, and other relevant stakeholders to quickly take necessary actions that would provide succour to the victims.
The farmer governor reassured that his administration will continue to do its best to ensure the wellbeing of the citizenry.
