
FARMER GOV BAGO HAILS PRESIDENT TINUBU FOR SUSTAINING DEMOCRATIC PRINCIPLES.
Niger State Governor,Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for upholding democratic principles.
In a statement on Wednesday by Bologi Ibrahim, the chief Press Secretary to the Governor, the farmer Governor stated this while speaking to journalists shortly after submitting his expression of interest and nomination forms in Abuja.
He noted that President Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress have allowed the democratic process to have its way in the party.
According to him, “So far so good. Democracy is in action. Thanks to the president, cCommander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, my father, for allowing the party to do the due process.”
He used the opportunity to reiterate his appreciation to the All Farmers Association, Niger State branch, for contributing money to purchase the forms for him, saying he will sustain his support for the agricultural sector in return.
Senator Representing the Niger East Senatorial District, Sen. Mohammed Sani Musa; House of Representatives Member representing the Kontagora/Wushishi/Mariga/Mashegu Federal Constituency, Abdullahi Idris Garba; Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Usman, and top government officials, among other friends and well-wishers, accompanied the farmer Governor to submit the forms.
