DG Rinsola Abiola Selected as Delegate for Africa Mindset Reset Forum 2026 in Kigali
The Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC), Rinsola Abiola, has been named a delegate to the Africa Mindset Reset Forum 2026, a continental gathering set to bring together policymakers, youth leaders and development stakeholders in Kigali, Rwanda, from August 25 to 26.
Abiola disclosed her selection in a post on her official X account, describing the development as one that aligns closely with her work advancing youth leadership across Nigeria.
“I am delighted to have been selected as a delegate to the Africa Mindset Reset Forum 2026, organised by the African School of Governance (ASG),” she wrote.
Organised by the African School of Governance, the forum is designed to convene diverse African stakeholders around themes of leadership, development, youth empowerment, institutional effectiveness and practical solutions to the continent’s most pressing challenges.
According to Abiola, her participation carries added significance given her role at CLTC, an institution focused on shaping civic consciousness and leadership capacity among Nigerian youth.
“This opportunity is particularly meaningful in the context of my work at the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre. I look forward to bringing Nigeria’s youth leadership and development perspectives to these conversations, while also learning from experiences and ideas across the continent that can strengthen our work at home,” she stated.
She also commended Youth Hub Africa for facilitating her participation, describing the organisation as a committed partner in creating spaces for meaningful continental dialogue.
“My sincere appreciation to Youth Hub Africa, our valued partner, for facilitating this opportunity and for their continued commitment to creating platforms that connect young Africans to consequential conversations,” she added.
As African nations continue to grapple with questions of governance, youth inclusion and institutional reform, forums like this one underscore the growing recognition that home-grown leadership solutions must be shaped through cross-border dialogue. For Abiola and the institution she leads, Kigali offers not just a seat at the table, but a chance to test Nigeria’s youth development strategies against a wider continental standard.
