Nollywood Veteran, Patience Ozokwor has explained that divorce is rampant and easy these days among couples because women hardly heed advice.
She made the statement recently on her social media handles.
She opines “Have you ever asked why your mother stayed in marriage despite the man’s faults? They were patient. Sometimes, our mothers would even catch their husbands in bed with another woman, but they would drive the woman away and continue the marriage. Even the neighbors wouldn’t hear about it”
“But nowadays, everything is being brought to the internet. Some of these problems, if discussed privately, could actually be fixed, but the internet often worsens the situation….”
She established that women need to be educated about marriage constantly.
