KWASU VC,Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh Celebrates Emir of Ilorin at 85
The Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Alade Jimoh, has felicitated with the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Maimartaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, on his 85th birthday celebration.
In a statement issued on Monday, personally signed by the Vice Chancellor,Professor Jimoh noted that the reign of the Emir of Ilorin has brought significant growth, peace, and stability to Ilorin and Kwara State, emphasising that the Emir, in his capacity as Chairman of the state tradition council, has laid a solid foundation for impactful traditional leadership in the state and the nation.
He added that the entire Kwara State University, KWASU community, rejoiced with all well-meaning Kwarans and Nigerians on this iconic day, which marks the birthdate of a champion of peace and development.
He wished the Emir of Ilorin, on behalf of Council, Management, staff, and students, a joyous 85th birthday, praying Allah to grant him more years in good health to continue to add value to humanity.
