Hon. Wahab Issa Felicitates Emir of Ilorin on 85th Birthday
Former Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdulwahab Oladimeji Issa, has extended warm felicitations to the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Highness Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, on the occasion of his 85th birthday.
In a congratulatory statement, Hon. Issa who is also the pioneer Financial Secretary of the Sheikh Alimi Foundation for Peace and Development—thanked Almighty Allah for the life and reign of the esteemed monarch. He described the Emir as a symbol of peace, justice, and national unity.
“Our father, His Royal Highness has consistently exemplified the values of peace, justice, and harmony through both words and actions,” Issa said.
He commended the Emir’s visionary leadership and enduring dedication to the unity and progress of the Ilorin Emirate, qualities that have earned him admiration across Nigeria.
“Your Highness unwavering commitment to fostering ethno-religious harmony and peaceful coexistence has endeared you to all well-meaning citizens, transcending cultural, religious, and political boundaries,” he noted.
Hon. Issa further highlighted the Emir’s influential role as a spiritual and traditional leader whose efforts have strengthened bonds of unity and understanding across the nation.
“As you celebrate this remarkable milestone, I join countless others in honoring your life of service. May Almighty Allah bless you with continued health, wisdom, and a peaceful reign. Amin,” he concluded.
