IEYDA Hails Appointment of Kwara Grand Khadi, Justice Abdullateef Kamaldeen, to National Judicial Council
Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA), under the auspices of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, heartily congratulates the Grand Khadi of the Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, His Lordship, Honourable Justice Abdullateef Kamaldeen, on his well-deserved appointment as a Member of the National Judicial Council (NJC), Abuja.
In a statement jointly signed by the National President, Alhaji Mohammed Uthman Jagunmo, and the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi Abdulfatahi Oloyin obtained by Daily Hibiscus News, described the appointment as timely, meritorious, and a clear evidence to His Lordship’s profound scholarship, judicial integrity, administrative competence, and unwavering commitment to justice and the rule of law.
According to the National President of the Association, Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunmo expressed that Justice Abdullateef Kamaldeen’s elevation to the NJC is not only a personal honour but also a source of immense pride to Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State, and the entire Nigerian judiciary.
IEYDA noted that His Lordship has, over the years, distinguished himself through sound judgments, moral uprightness, humility, and dedication to the principles of Islamic jurisprudence and constitutional justice.
The Association further expressed confidence that His Lordship’s wealth of experience in Shariah and appellate adjudication will significantly contribute to the effectiveness, credibility, and reform driven mandate of the National Judicial Council.
IEYDA prayed that Allah grants His Lordship divine guidance, wisdom, strength, and continued success as he undertakes this critical national responsibility in service to the Nigerian judiciary and the nation at large.
