Unknown Attackers Kill Housewife,Six Children in Kano

Residents of Kano were thrown into shock, following the killing of a housewife and Six of her children in a gruesome attack, while her infant was reportedly thrown into an open well within their home.

The tragic incident occurred in Dorayi Chiranci area of the ancient city. Community members said the attackers are yet to be identified, as security agencies have launched an investigation into the matter.

According to residents, the assailants allegedly killed the woman and three of her children before throwing her infant into a well located within the family compound.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident, including the time it occurred and the motive behind the attack, remain unclear.
Locals described the incident as horrifying and unprecedented, expressing deep fear and grief over the loss of lives.

Many residents called on security agencies to increase patrols in the area and ensure those responsible are brought to justice.

There was palpable tension in Dorayi Chiranci on Tuesday, with residents taking precautionary measures amid concerns over safety and security.

Efforts to obtain an official response from the Kano State Police Command were unsuccessful, as the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, could not be reached for comment at the time of filing this report.
