FARMER GOV BAGO CONDOLES WITH YORUBA COMMUNITY IN NIGER STATE OVER THE DEMISE OF FAMOUS IYA FEMI.

Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago commiserates with the Yoruba leader in Niger State, Oba Kabiesi Abdulrazak Abdulkareem Yayi, over the death of Iya Laje of the State, Hajiya Falilatu Dauda, popularly known as Iya Femi.

In a condolence message on Wednesday through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer governor says her death is a loss to the entire state, not only the Yoruba community.

He notes the contributions of the deceased to the economic growth of the state, especially through her famous “Iya Femi Restaurant.”

The farmer governor also observes how the late Iya Femi rose to become a successful entrepreneur, employer of labour and strong voice among the Yoruba community in the state.

He sympathised with the family, the Yoruba community leader and members, and prayed that Allah will forgive all the shortcomings of the deceased and grant her Aljanna Firdausi.
