Hijrah 1447: Kwara Central Senator greets Muslims on Islamic New Year
The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Saliu Mustapha, has congratulated Muslims in his constituency and across Nigeria on the occasion of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1447.
Senator Mustapha in a statement issued on Thursday by his Media Assistant,Nasif Sholagberu,described the Hijrah as a moment of deep spiritual reflection, renewal of faith and recommitment to the values of peace, unity and compassion that Islam promotes.
He expressed optimism that the new Islamic year would usher in renewed hope, progress, and divine favour for the people of Kwara Central and the nation at large.
“As we begin another Islamic year, I encourage the Muslim Ummah to remain steadfast in faith, uphold the teachings of Islam, and continue to pray for the peace and prosperity of our dear country,” Senator Mustapha said.
The Senator wished the Muslim Ummah a happy and prosperous new Islamic year.
