IEDPU USA Branch Congratulates Emir of Ilorin at 85
Ilorin Emirate Descendant Progressive Union United States, (IEDPU USA) has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari on 85th Birthday.
In a statement issued on Monday by Media and Publicity Secretary of the Union, Waziri Abdulrazaq Fulani,said since his enthronement as 11th Emir of Ilorin ,Mai Martaba has been a beacon of unity, peace and development .
IEDPU United States opined that under Emir Sulu Gambari’s visionary reign, the Ilorin Emirate has witnessed tremendous strides in Education, religious harmony, cultural preservation, and youth Empowerment. He has continued to be a symbol of moral authority , fostering peace among diverse communities and inspiring generations of Ilorin sons and daughters at home and abroad.
Part of the statement read,” The IEDPU United States Branch is immensely proud of the Emir’s enduring legacy and continues to draw
strength from his exemplary leadership.We are grateful for his consistent support for our diaspora community and his fatherly guidance to the global Ilorin Emirate family”.
The union recalled how the Emir served honourably as presiding justice of Court of Appeal, earning national respect for his integrity, wisdom, and impartiality
The IEDPU USA prayed that Allah continues to guide His Royal Highness good health, long life , increased wisdom and many more years of peaceful and prosperous leadership.
“May his reign continue to be a source of blessing to the Ilorin Emirate , Kwara State and Nigeria at large”, the union concluded
