
RUSSIA TO OFFER SCHOLARSHIP TO 100 NIGERLITES
The Government of Saint Petersburg, Russia said it would sponsor 100 Students from Niger State to study Russian Language.
In a statement released on Tuesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor,Bologi Ibrahim,the Governor of Saint Petersburg Alexander Beglov stated this when he met with the Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago and other State Officials in St. Petersburg.
He also pledged to support the farmer Governor’s agricultural revolution and to help in exploring the mineral potentials of Niger State.
Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago in the series of meetings with the Governor of St. Petersburg also deliberated on areas to develop agriculture, education,and healthcare as well as enhance cultural collaborations between both parties.
He described the idea to support Nigerlites study Russian Language as encouraging as it will help to boost the bilateral relationship between Niger State Government and Russia.
