
Senator Mustapha Congratulates New NUT Leaders Across Kwara LGAs
The lawmaker representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has congratulated the newly elected branch chairmen of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) across the 16 local government areas of Kwara State, following the successful conclusion of the 2025 Branch Delegates Conference held on Wednesday.
In a statement released on Saturday by his Media Assistant,Nasif Sholagberu,the Senator particularly congratulated the newly elected excos from the LGAs of Kwara Central Senatorial District led by Mallam Saka Saffi O. Adanla (Ilorin East); Mallam Amosa Abiodun Sanni (Ilorin West); Mallam Yahaya A. Fatai (Ilorin South); and Mallam Abdulrauf Sanni (Asa), praising the Union’s dedication to the advancement of teachers’ welfare and the promotion of quality education.
Senator Mustapha therefore urged the new leadership to remain focused on upholding professionalism, advocating for better working conditions, and fostering collaboration with relevant stakeholders to raise educational standards across the state.
He wished them a productive and impactful tenure as they take on the responsibility of representing and advocating for the interests of teachers in their respective local government areas.
