Senator Mustapha lauds President Tinubu’s Agricultural Revitalization Efforts
The Senator Representing Kwara Central, Senator Saliu Mustapha has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his Agricultural Revitalization Efforts, describing it a vital step for the well-being and prosperity of all nigerians.
Senator Mustapha made this remark on his social media handles on Tuesday. He explained that as the chairman of the Senate committee on Agriculture, he represented the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio during the official launch of the Renewed Hope Agricultural Mechanisation Programme by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja on Monday
According to the Senator, the landmark event featured the commissioning of 2,000 Tractors and thousands of modern farming implements, marking a decisive stride toward revolutionizing Nigeria’s Agricultural sector and securing the nation’s food sufficiency
He asserted that the initiative was supported by key International partners, one of them is the Republic of Belarus, which heralds a new era of mechanized farming in Nigeria.
In his words, “it aligns with our shared commitment to enhance food production, empower farmers, create jobs, and drive economic growth through innovation in agriculture”
Senator Mustapha revealed that he was proud to support the visionary project and that they would continue to provide legislative backing to ensure the project’s success and sustainability.
