2026 HAJJ: NIGER STATE GOVERNOR APPOINTS EMIR OF AGAIE AMIRUL HAJJ
Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has approved the appointment of the Emir of Agaie, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Yusuf Nuhu as the State Amirul Hajj for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
In a statement issued by Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman disclosed that the appointment of the first class traditional ruler is based on his track records of hard work, commitment, patriotism and trustworthiness.
Governor Umaru Bago congratulated the 2026 Amirul Hajj and wished him success and God’s guidance in the performance of the arduous task, the statement added.
