AISN National Executive Council Congratulates Professor Jimba on Reappointment as KWASU Deputy Vice-Chancellor

The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria (AISN) and members of the society have congratulated Professor Moshood Mahmood Jimba on his reappointment as Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete.

In a statement issued on by Alhaji AbdulYekini Gesua,the National Publicity Secretary of AISN,the congratulatory message was conveyed on behalf of the society by its National President, Alhaji Sarafadeen Alabelewe, who commended the Governing Board of the university for ratifying Professor Jimba’s reappointment.

According to Alhaji Sarafadeen Alabelewe, the reappointment is in recognition of Professor Jimba’s outstanding performance, commitment and dedication during his first term as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration).

The society described the renowned Professor of Arabic language and literature as a committed, trustworthy and dedicated member of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria and Al-Zumrah Al-Adabiyyah Al-Kamaliyyah. He added that his accomplishments have continued to make the organisation proud, describing him as a worthy ambassador of Sheikh Muhammad Kamaldeen Al-Adabiyy.

Alabelewe noted that Professor Jimba has contributed significantly to the development of the society in various capacities, particularly during the processes leading to the take-off of Muhammad Kamaldeen University.

Professor Jimba held several key positions at KWASU since he joined the university in 2012 having served as Head of Department, Director of the Centre for Ilorin Manuscripts, Dean of Student Affairs and Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies.

He is also currently serving as Chairman of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.

The AISN leadership praised Professor Jimba’s record of service, describing him as a man whose career has been marked by commitment, dedication, integrity and service to humanity and Islam.

Alhaji Alabelewe prayed to Allah the Almighty to continuously endow Professor Jimba with wisdom, strength and guidance as he begins another term in office, expressing confidence that he will continue to contribute positively to the growth and development of KWASU and the wider community.
