Betta Edu hosts Ado Bayero,others for Iftar
The Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu has hosted the 15th Emir of Kano, HRH Alhaji (Dr)Aminu Ado Bayero,who is also the Chancellor of University of Calabar for Iftar at her residence in Calabar on Wednesday .

According to her, the leadership of the Muslim Community in Cross River State and other Muslim faithfuls were also in attendance for the breaking of fast.
She explained that the breaking of fast happened at a time when the Christians faithfuls are also observing their annual lent.
In her words, “Nigeria is indeed a God’s owned Country as its leadership under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to fostering unity, cultural appreciation, and interfaith harmony inline with the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
Other dignitaries that attended the breaking of fast were the Acting Governor of Cross River State,RT Hon Peter Odey, Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Professor Florence Obi and the members of the university governing council and Management.
Dr Betta used the occasion to wish Muslim faithfuls Ramadan Kareem and wished Happy Golden Jubilee Celebrations to her Alma mater, University of Calabar.
