

Strategic Partnership Talks Hold Between CLTC and Defence College
The Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre, Rinsola Abiola, has moved to establish a partnership with the National Defence College to strengthen leadership development and strategic capacity building in the country.
Abiola disclosed this in a post on her official X account after leading a delegation to the institution for a meeting with the Provost of the Centre for Strategic Research and Studies, Professor Adam Okene Ahmed, and other senior officials.
She said the meeting focused on areas of collaboration between both institutions, especially in leadership development, training and research.
According to her, discussions were held on leadership curriculum development, research on matters of mutual interest, and the advancement of strategic leadership methodologies.
She said, “The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to align perspectives and identify pathways for partnership which will strengthen capacity-building efforts and contribute meaningfully to national development.”
Abiola also appreciated the management of the college for the warm reception given to her delegation.
She added that she looked forward to building a strong and impactful working relationship with the institution.
The meeting comes amid growing calls for stronger institutions and improved leadership capacity to drive national development in Nigeria.
