Eid-el-Fitri:Betta Edu Calls For Peace, Love Among Nigerians
The Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu has called for peace, love, and unity among nigerians on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitri.
This was contained in a statement she personally signed and released on Sunday.
She said she has brought a message of love and peace to all Muslim Ummah during this festive period.
The statement reads,” Eid-el-Fitri is a time for spiritual rejuvenation, reflection, and Celebrations with loved ones, therefore, I urge everyone in the faith to continue the spirit of Ramadan , which emphasises compassion, forgiveness, generosity , care and kindness. “
Dr Betta Edu urged all Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his reform agenda to make Nigeria a better place , filled with love, peace, harmony and stable economic growth.
She wished all Muslims a joyous and blessed Eid- el -Fitri Celebration.
