FARMER GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO ATTENDS WEDDING FATIHA OF HIS NEPHEW, UWAIS IN MINNA.
Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago was part of many eminent personalities that graced the wedding fatiha of Uwais Abdulrahman, a Nephew to the farmer governor.
In a statement on Friday by the Governor’s Chief Pres Secretary,Bologi Ibrahim,the wedding fatiha took place at Baba Arabi’s residence, Minna where the Chief Imam of Minna, Malam Jibril Isah presided over the wedding.
The Chief Imam pronounced Uwais Abdulrahman and his bride Fatima Muhammad married after the payment of N150,000 as bride price by the representative of the groom and Baraden Nupe, AVM Haruna Mohammed .
Farmer Umaru Bago who congratulated the couple wished them marital bliss and urged them to live their marital lifetime in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and Hadith.
The farmer governor also advised them to be tolerant of each other, be patient and not allow third party to meddle in their affairs.
Farmer Umaru Bago then proceeded to the Tecno family residence in Minna to join other family members in celebrating the joyous day for the Teknos.
The farmer governor was accompanied by his deputy, Comrade Yakubu Garba, Secretary to the State government, Abubakar Usman, Member representing Bida/Gbako/Katcha federal constituency,Saidu Musa Abdul, Chairman Chanchaga Local Government Council, Dr. Mustapha Jibrin, Chief of Staff to the governor, Abdullahi Usman Gbatamangi, deputy Chief of Staff, Sadiq Yusuf among others.
