FARMER GOVERNOR BAGO MOURNS A NURSE IN KAGARA, BALA ALAWA.

Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has mourned the killing of a nurse, Bala Alawa of General Hospital Kagara, by bandits.

In a condolence message on Friday through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer governor expressed deep sorrow, describing the killing of Alawa as tragic and senseless.

He noted that the unfortunate incident is coming at a time when the deceased and other workers are to be celebrated for their sacrifices and contributions to serving humanity.

The farmer governor said the killing of Alawa is a painful reminder of the risks many frontline personnel face in the line of duty.

He maintained that the loss of Alawa is a great loss not only to his immediate family but also to the entire state, considering his selflessness and dedication to providing healthcare services to the people.

The farmer governor sympathised with the family of the deceased, his colleagues, and the entire health workers in the state over the incident.

He also commiserated with the Emir of Kagara, Alh. Ahmed Gunna Attahiru II, and the entire people of Kagara, which was the deceased host community.

According to the governor, “I am pained by the killing of this hardworking nurse, and I truly mourn him. I assure you that his sacrifices and those of others who are frontline workers will never be taken for granted.”

He further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving security of lives and livelihoods across the state and ensuring that criminals are brought to justice.

The farmer governor prayed that Allah will forgive the deceased and grant him Aljanna Firdausi and comfort all the bereaved.
