IEYDA CONGRATULATES PHARM. MUNIRAT AKANBI BELLO ON EMERGENCE AS FIRST FEMALE CHAIRMAN OF PSN KWARA

Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA), under the auspices of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, warmly congratulates Pharm. Munirat Kikelomo Akanbi-Bello on her historic election as the Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Kwara State Branch.

In a statement jointly signed by the National President, Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunmo, and the National Director of Publicity, Alh. Abdullahi Abdulfatahi Oloyin, described the historic emergence of Pharm. Akanbi-Bello as a remarkable milestone, a demonstration to her competence, professionalism, dedication and leadership capacity, as well as an inspiration to women and young people across Kwara State.

According to the statement, Pharm. Akanbi-Bello has made history as the first woman to occupy the esteemed position of Chairman of the PSN Kwara State Branch, marking a significant milestone for women in the pharmaceutical profession and the wider healthcare sector in Kwara State. The election, held on Saturday in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, saw Pharm. Akanbi-Bello emerged victorious after contesting against two other male candidates.

IEYDA describes her emergence as an evidence to her professional excellence, competence, dedication, leadership capacity, and years of service to the pharmaceutical profession and humanity.

The Association particularly celebrates this historic achievement as an inspiration to young women and youths across Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State, demonstrating that excellence, integrity, competence, and perseverance remain pathways to leadership and meaningful impact.

IEYDA is confident that Pharm. Akanbi Bello will bring her wealth of experience, professionalism, and commitment to service to bear in advancing the objectives of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria in Kwara State.
