Musawa Loses Mother as Family Announces Funeral at Abuja National Mosque

The family of Hajiya Fatima Ladi Binta Musa Musawa, mother of the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, has announced her passing.

In a statement issued by the family, funeral arrangements were unveiled, with the Salatul Janazah scheduled to hold on Saturday at the National Mosque, Abuja, immediately after the Zuhr prayer fixed for 1:30 p.m.

The statement said Hajiya Fatima would be laid to rest at the Gudu Cemetery following the funeral rites.

Family members, friends, associates and members of the Muslim community have been invited to attend the prayer session and offer prayers for the repose of her soul.

The family also prayed for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness for the deceased, asking that she be granted Aljannatul Firdaus.

“May Almighty Allah forgive and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus. Ameen,” the statement said.

The death of Hajiya Fatima has continued to draw condolences from sympathisers and well-wishers, who have prayed for strength and comfort for the Musawa family as they mourn their loss.
