
PSN Kwara Elects Munirat Akabi-Bello as First Female Chairman

Pharm Munirat Kikelomo Akanbi-Bello has been elected as the chairman of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Kwara state branch.
The election took place on Saturday in Ilorin, the Kwara state Capital where she contested against two other male candidates.She polled 76 votes,
Pharm IK Bello got 59 votes while Pharm Ademola Durotoye had 48 votes.
In her congratulatory message made available to Daily Hibiscus News,She thanked her colleagues for the overwhelming support and trust.
In her words,”This victory is not mine alone,it is ours.It is a testament to our collective strength, unity and belief in a greater PSN Kwara”the
Pharm Munirat pledged to lead with integrity,transparency, inclusiveness and dedication.
She also promised to work tirelessly in advancing the pharmaceutical profession,protecting their practice and improving the welfare of every member.
