WTD 2026: Kwara Central Senator Hails Teachers’ Commitment to Nation-Building

Senator Saliu Mustapha , representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, has hailed Nigerian teachers for their dedication and commitment to nation-building as the country joins the rest of the world to commemorate the 2026 World Teachers’ Day.

The Senator, in a statement issued on Monday by his Media Assistant,Nasif Sholagberu, acknowledged the dedication, patience and sacrifices of teachers in shaping the lives of young Nigerians and contributing to the development of the nation.

A Senator For All urged governments at all levels to prioritise teachers’ welfare, professional training and working conditions to enhance productivity and promote sustainable standards in the education sector.

He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting legislative efforts and policies aimed at strengthening the teaching profession, stressing that investment in teachers remained an investment in the future of the nation.

The senator also called on the private sector and well-meaning Nigerians to support educational initiatives that empower teachers and improve learning outcomes across the country.

He congratulated teachers on their steadfastness and commitment to duty, assuring them that their contributions to nation-building would continue to be valued.
